James is currently appearing as 'The MC' in Channing Tatum's Magic Mike Live at The Hippodrome Theatre in London's West End.
Conceived and co-directed by Channing Tatum, Magic Mike Live is a large-scale, live production show based on the hit films Magic Mike and Magic Mike XXL.

James recently returned from a three month residency of Potted Potter, the two man, Olivier nominated, Harry Potter parody, at Bally's Hotel & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip.
During this residency they were awarded the Best of Las Vegas Gold Award for
Best New Act of Las Vegas 2019.
This Vegas Residency followed a World Tour which has so far included tours of the USA, Canada, Asia and Australia as well as Broadway seasons in New York and Chicago.
LABOUTL
James was born and raised in Doncaster, England. Following a Law Degree at The University of Liverpool, he trained classically at Birmingham School of Acting. Since then, James has worked internationally as an actor and comedian.
For the last few years James has appeared in the World Tour of the two-man, Olivier Award-nominated, Potted Potter. This has included seasons in New York, Chicago, LA and tours of Australia, Asia, Canada and the USA. He has also recently toured the UK as a performer for The Reduced Shakespeare Company.
In 2010, James became the youngest actor to ever play the role of Wilbur Turnblad, in Hairspray: The Musical (USA).
James was also seen playing Elvis Presley in a TV commercial for Virgin Media.

James appeared in the American comedy improv show Throw Me A Line, and was the resident comedian on the worlds largest cruise ship, Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of The Seas.
